Teacher

I've been joyfully navigating the world of teaching since 2018, spanning ages from 2 to 22! My teaching adventure began back in high school, where I discovered my love for working with young minds, especially those in preschool. From volunteering in elementary classrooms to now crafting a vibrant and inclusive space, I'm all about fostering curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.

While studying Early Childhood Education (ECE) at Diablo Valley College, I embraced the Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches. I developed lesson plans based on children's interests and observations, emphasizing social-emotional and self-help skills to nurture confident, creative individuals.  My teaching philosophy focuses on facilitating a learning environment where children teach each other, supported by play-based learning. This approach enhances language and communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and creativity, reaffirming my dedication to early childhood education.

Beyond the classroom, you'll often find me lost in arts and crafts, creating delightful lanyards and bracelets, or penning down my thoughts in a journal. And when I'm not there, I dive into the wonders of ancient civilizations, myths, and the mesmerizing world of exotic wildlife. I'm a storyteller at heart, passionate about sharing the richness of different cultures and spreading joy wherever I go!
